The walk visits Scopas Peak and a few rocky gullies before crossing Piles Creek on the Phil Houghton Suspension Footbridge. Here the walk heads towards Mooney Mooney Creek before leading up to the Mooney Mooney Creek Trackhead on the Old Pacific Highway. A sidetrip to Camp Kariong is also described for those wishing to take advantage of the wellestablished camping facilities there.
