[aesop_content color=”#000000″ background=”#ffffff” columns=”1″ position=”none” imgrepeat=”no-repeat” floaterposition=”left” floaterdirection=”up”]Starting from Merewether, this walk mostly follows the coastline to Queens Wharf. After exploring some of Newcastle’s (and, arguably, Australia’s) best beaches and the views from Strzelecki Lookout, the track wanders through King Edward Park, with an optional side-trip to the Bogey Hole. The walk then heads up to another panoramic view from the Obelisk before continuing through Newcastle CBD and mall to Queens Wharf. There are a few long hills, so take your time and enjoy the sea air.
